The Stockings Were Hung...

On the entertainment center with care.

I decided to try my hand at some DIY stockings.

I purchased two LARGE wool sweaters from the thrift store,

made a poster board stocking template (out of a

stocking I had), and traced it onto the sweater.

I then sewed it up, added some brown flannel

for the lining, and added a ribbon for a hook!

We unfortunately don't have a fireplace so the stockings

have to go on the entertainment center, which sure

does make watching TV difficult.

I still have one more to make, but we aren't spending

Christmas here so I'm not in much of a rush!

I love that they are similar colors, but a little different.

This way we can each have our own, but they all coordinate.
