Acorn Decor

I just got back from a weekend trip in San Francisco to

visit my best friend from college. She had all of her fall

decor up, which included dozens of acorns. Wooden ones,

glass ones, real ones, acorn shaped candles... you get it.

Well I guess her love of acorns has rubbed off on me over

the years because I recently picked up these:

They were $2 a piece on sale, but I wasn't loving the

darkness of them.

I used a sponge brush and some cream paint I had on

hand and turned them into this:

Easy, inexpensive, and just a dash of fall decor to get us

in the mood for Thanksgiving!
